Every field has its own technical terminology, which makes it key to specialize in the subject to master the specialist language and catch every nuance.
How my translation service works
Each text must be carefully analyzed to fit the style, tone of voice, purpose, and intended reader. Before I start rewriting your document in my native Italian, I zero in on the technical terms and possible tricky areas. After the preparation phase, I start the actual translation, which entails choosing just the right words in Italian, my native language, to create a text that is well-written and fits the objective and type of text.
I work most often with SDL Trados Studio, computer-assisted translation software – which, mind you, is not artificial intelligence, or machine translation - which makes for optimal productivity and lets me deliver a faithful, consistent translation in terms of terminology, grammar, and form. The translated document's formatting and layout will stay true to those of the original text.
